MyHeritage is an online genealogy research site that was founded in 2003 in Israel. The headquarters for the site is currently located in Israel with satellite offices in Utah, California, and Ukraine. Members may use the site to create and save family trees, upload or browse photos, and search global records to assist in their family history research. As of 2018, the site is available in 42 languages worldwide and has approximately 92 million users. As of 2016, MyHeritage began offering DNA testing kits under the brand name of MyHeritage DNA. Signing up for the site is free, as are creating family trees with up to 250 entries and matching names to other information. Excerpts of documents are available to free accounts but in order to access full documents, create trees with more than 250 entries, or confirm relationships between individuals a paid subscription is required. Enhanced family tree memberships are available in two plans, the Premium account allows up to 2,500 entries for $89.00 the first year which increases to $119.00 per year after the first year while the Premium Plus account allows unlimited family tree entries for $139.00 for the first year which increases to $189.00 per year in subsequent years. A Data membership keeps the 250 entry limit for family trees but allows access to all historical documents for $129.00 for the first year which increases to $179.00 per year in subsequent years. A Complete account membership includes both unlimited family tree entries and access to all documents for $199.00 for the first year which increases to $279.00 per year after the first year.
