The newspaper serves various areas in New York, including Nassau County, Suffolk County, Rockland County, Westchester County, Queens, Long Island, and the New York metropolitan area. The headquarters are located in Melville, New York. The newspaper is in tabloid formatting. The Publisher is Debby Krenek and the Editor is Debbie Henley. The newspaper is owned by Newsday Media. There are currently over 450,000 daily subscribers and over 500,000 Sunday subscribers. Newsday has won 19 Pulitzer Prizes, with the last one being in 2007 when Walt Handelsman was honored for Editorial Cartooning.
