How Do I Cancel My Movie Pass

MoviePass is a movie ticket subscription service. MoviePass was founded in 2011 by Stacy Spikes and Hamet Watt in New York City. The service has had several pricing structures in its 7-year history,  ranging from 2 a month to an unlimited plan. Its prices were raised to $14.95 per month in 2017 and restrictions were placed on new release viewing though much of that has changed now. Customers sign up with MoviePass on the website and download the mobile app to use their subscription. When using the subscription benefits a user must check in to a participating movie theater and choose what film they wish to see and showtime at which to see it. The cost of the ticket to that movie is loaded by MoviePass onto a prepaid debit card issued to each customer, that card is then used to purchase the ticket at the theater. Movies available to see using your subscription can be viewed within the app or on the website with a rotating daily schedule of available blockbuster and independent films to choose from. MoviePass states subscribers may use their plan at 91% of theaters in the United States. A monthly membership costs $9.95 and allows the subscriber to see up to 3 movies per month from the available films, and purchase additional tickets with a discounted price. Discounts vary based on location and movie chosen but may be as much as $5.00 per additional ticket. The monthly fee is charged one month at a time and will automatically renew until cancelled.   1. Head over to https://support.moviepass.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  2. Help the representative locate your account by providing the info they ask for
  3. Scrolling down, find the button that says “Submit”
  4. Continue by clicking on the button that says “Submit”
