Legal Crime Lookup performs searches of public and criminal records to provide a general background check of an individual. Reports may include information such as a criminal check, felony and misdemeanor charges, assault and battery cases, criminal driving infractions, probation records, whether or not an individual is listed on the national sex offender database, and federal offenses information in addition to information on offenses at the local or state level. Records may include charges as well as convictions. Records pulled by the service include public records covered by the Freedom of Information Act and other similar laws. 

Two different options exist for customers who wish to use the site. One option is to pay $1.00 each time a report is requested. There is no recurring billing with this option and you are only charged when you choose to order a report. The other option is the 3-month subscription option. Customers who choose this option are able to access unlimited reports during their paid subscription period and are charged at a rate of $18.95 for each month that the account remains active. These memberships may continue to automatically renew until cancelled by the customer but may be cancelled at any time by contacting the company since there is no enforced minimum subscription term.
